General Information
Health Sector in Sudan : In Sudan, Health Related expenditures having priority in the budget of Sudan have reached up to 150 milion dollars along with the projects conducted by many international organizations such as UNICEF, UN, MDTF and WHO. There are serious numbers of of need for medical supplies existing in Sudan. Under such conditions, it seems that many international companies may penetrate into this market in competiton with favorable prices and proper payment plans. There are 35 hospitals, 1200 health offices, 1000 private clinics and 4000 pharmacies exist in Sudan. Some of the serious diseases are still big problem for Sudanese people and they need different kinds of medicines and the related paramedical materials such as injection syringe, hospital equipments, operating hardwares etc. In the country where there is a high demand for laboratory materials, the existing factories related with healts sector suffer from evident capacity - utilization problems.
