Summary
Being a professional exhibition of the CIIF, the Environmental Protection Technology & Equipment Show 2009(EPTES2009) is an international platform which focuses on the environmental protection technologies and equipments such as water treatment, energy-saving, fume purification, circulated economy and waste disposal.
General Information
According to forecasting of the State Bureau of Environmental Protection, investment to be put into social environmental protection will be up to 1.375 trillion RMB during the 11th Five-year Plan, accounting for 1.6% of GDP of the period (2006-2010). State Council has recently developed ten measures to expand internal demand and promote economic growth. 4 trillion RMB investments will be used on transportation, agriculture, people's livelihood, environmental protection and etc. Environmental protection technologies, equipments and solutions are being used in automobile, petroleum, chemical, medicine, food, electricity and electronics, building and several other industries. They have already been keys to improve China’s core competence in manufacturing. China’s environmental protection senses will be enhanced at the time of Expo2010, and related works will be done. We believe that EPTES will help CIIF to accomplish the target of becoming the best international industry fair in the future. EPTES 2009 will follow the theme of “Circulated Economy and Saving Energy”, integrating with different industrial economy and environment benefit, promoting saving energy, enhancing comprehensive and circulate application of resource, improving renewable resource system, improving industrial pollution prevention and cure, using economic methods to improve the marketlization process of pollution prevention and cure. CIIF provides a communication and cooperation stage for environment industry.
