Summary
The Charlotte Gift & Jewelry Show was organized in June of 1953 by Mr. Earl H. Mahone, Jr. and soon became one of the strongest regional shows in the country. After outgrowing Radio Center in Charlotte (1963), the show was moved to its current home, the Charlotte Merchandise Mart.
