The Asia-Pacific Optical Communications Conference provides an important forum for the exchange of information on recent advances and future trends in optical components and systems technologies, optical Internet developments, optical network trends and applications, and associated services. Special emphasis is placed on Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region that represent one of the world's most rapidly growing markets for telecom and information technology systems and services. The conference is organized by the Chinese Optical Society, the China Institute of Communications, and SPIE.
