Summary
300 feet of winding, custom-desgined stage scenery makes up Sweet Street. It is complete with theatrical lighting, recorded sounds and other theme effects and props. Upon entering, kiddies receive a trick-or-treat bag where they can store their goodies. Then it's off to explore more than 30 houses where the children receive individually wrapped, pre-approved treats. Sweet Street is also complete with a festival area that covers half the expo hall. Among the many activities; hands on arts & crafts, an appliance village, a hay bale maze, and entertainment by Randy Petersen. Costumed characters will roam freely throughout this area to visit with the kids and public safety will be on hand going over the do's and don't of neighborhood trick-or-treating.
General Information
Children of all ages and their parents will enjoy this safe alternative to traditional Halloween activities. Children trick-or-treat along a street which includes 30 one-of-a-kind houses and custom-designed stage scenery complete with costumed characters theatrical lighting and recorded sounds. Over 7000 attendees visit vendor exhibits and enjoy the variety of children's activities. Among these activities are trick-or-treating the appliance village kiddie corral maze Stadium Bounce small children's area arts & crafts pumpkin bowling petting zoo and much more! Children can also participate in and enjoy the entertainment provided at our main stage. Photo opportunities will also be available with a large cast of costumed characters.
