Summary
Welcome to the most exciting showcase of the season in Oman’s second largest city – the Salalah Tourism Festival. Previously known as the “Khareef” festival and held in the Dhofar Governate, the Salalah Tourism Festival boasts of a kaleidoscope of activities, events and displays designed to entertain, amuse, educate and enchant visitors. With the host of cultural, heritage and entertainment activities, the Salalah Tourism Festival has been a welcome respite for thousands of tourists seeking refuge from the raging summer heat.
General Information
Although a very old event, the main attraction will be the “Shopping Village” with ethnic & exotic products showcased and sold from across the world, organized by Oman’s leading exhibitions company, Oman International Trade & Exhibitions (OITE) for the first time. Showcasing a wide array of the most innovative and trendy consumer and lifestyle products from apparels, artifacts, handicrafts, jewellery, silverware, watches, pottery, glassware, paintings, furnishing, giftware, food stuff, toys, stationery, flowers, leather products, crockery, bags, lighting and household products and more the festival is the biggest family shopping extravaganza of the season.
