General Information
Glass World 2008 That will be held during May 24 - 27, 2008 in Cairo in International Convention Center (CICC) at Cairo – Egypt. Glass World 2007 has exceeded all expectations. It's primed to become the Africa's leading glass event, attracting visitors from not only the African and Arabian region but from throughout the world. It witnessed professional visitors coming from the following countries: Algeria, Kuwait, Lebanon, Italy, Turkey, France, Israel, Libya, UAE, Yemen, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Qatar, Bahrain, Germany and China. Glass World 2007 marked as a central meeting place for the international brands which strive to be introduced and launched in the Middle East & Africa, as numerous transnational groups and world-famous professional glass companies showed up at this exhibition. All the exhibitors praised the high level of professional competence and decision-making authority of the visitors and the international spread of the visitors. Just a few facts that arised from the exhibition (A) - 87% of the exhibitors had met there overall objectives ! (B) -81% -A staggering result stated they had met and surpassed there objectives in the short term and long term with immediate sales!! (C) -85% of exhibitors in 2007 expressed there immediate desire to have allocations booked for the 2008 expo, with 25% capacity reserved at conclusion. In response to the growth of the glass market in Middle East & Egypt, the latest technologies, modern machinery and equipment for glass production are now the main concern of the glass manufacturers. Egyptian enterprises are increasing their production capacity and improving product quality. All of them underlined the date of exhibition to be the excellent trading hub in the glass industry.
