General Information
The International Exhibition and Conference for health technologies, equipment and services, now at its 5th edition, has become a rendezvous and appointment for the entire world of health. Within the Palazzo dei Congressi of Roma complex, over 10,000 m2 of exhibition space provide a setting where institutions, health offices and hospital units, associations and private organizations can demonstrate their activities, results obtained and future projects. Visited by over 20,000 people during the 2006 edition, is an important exhibition that illustrates the concepts of 'good health' as well as the scientific and technological advances that health research makes available to the public; it offers an excellent opportunity for all those involved in the health world to meet, buy and sell, compare experiences, update themselves and be trained. There is a significant need to communicate and compare both within the health sector itself and between it and those who use it. This fair was created to offer points of contact between the demand and supply of products and services; to make known the scientific and technological progress being made towards safeguarding health; to contribute towards improving the management of health expenditure and raising the level of information, awareness, optimization of resources and quality of our health care system, involving politicians, administrators, managers, health operatives, producers, distributors and users themselves in this process. A UNIQUE OCCASION TO DISPLAY YOUR WORK The Exhibition will be held at the New Fair of Roma from on 25-28 June 2008. This is a new exhibition complex, ideal for meetings; companies and health organizations will be able to establish interpersonal contact with their public, evaluate impact and user satisfaction with their products and services, monitor marketing effectiveness and create innovative, well-focussed approaches. This event was also conceived with the aim of ensuring an open and profitable exchange of views between entrepreneurs and health operatives and the main political and administrative institutions, represented at the highest levels. Meetings The Exhibition arranges over 40 meetings, and is the most important health event of the year. In fact, the meeting area hosts over 15,000 health operatives who participate in the dense and interesting scientific program coordinated also by the Ministry of Health and developed in collaboration with the main national and regional organizations and associations. These meetings deal with a multitude of subjects addressed to all those in the health sector, public and private managers and users.
