27 June-2 July 2007; offered a
great chance to introduce technological
applications in textile to the world, to
follow technological innovations and to
realize them. 1200 textile technology
producer companies from 42 countries
showed their latest technologies on operation
at ITM 2006 Exhibition. ITM 2006
Exhibition, in which many machines were
introduced to the world for the first time,
hosted 70.000 visitors.
General Information
Thousands of visitors from Middle East countries Almost 30.000 foreign visitors coming mainly from Iran (%24), Syria (%21), Egypt (%8), Germany (%4), India (%4), Serbia (%3), Bulgaria (%3), Italy (%3), Pakistan (%3), Greece (%3), Bangladesh (%2), Morocco (%2), Switzerland (%1), Russia (%1) and Spain (%1) visited the exhibition. Also with the support of T.C. Prime Ministry Foreign Trade Undersecretary; under the organization of (OA‹B) Central Anatolia Exporter Unions General Secretary; a Purchasing Committee Program was realized. In the scope of this program guest company representatives coming from Syria, Russia Federation, Azerbaican, India and Iran visited ITM 2006 between 25-29 June 2006 and bought machinery. Almost 35.000 national textile investors, who visited ITM 2006 were mainly coming from the following, cities: Istanbul (%40,4), Bursa (%15,3), Tekirda¤ (%10,2), Denizli (%6,6), Gaziantep (%5,3), Uflak (%4,7), Kahramanmarafl (%3,4), Adana (%2,5), ‹zmir (%2,3), Kayseri (%2,1), Kocaeli (%1,2), K›rklareli (%0,9), Ankara (%0,8), Sakarya (%0,7), Edirne (%0,6).
