Summary
Elmia Wood is the largest forestry fair in the world. The fair has a strong focus on forest technology and it covers all the chain of forestry products & activities from the seedling in the nursery to the woodhandling at the woodyard. Elmia Wood is the "homefair" for the leading international forest machine manufacturers, especially in CTL-technology (Cut-To-Lenght). The whole fair is built up in the forest, with active demonstrations troughout all days. Appr. 4000 cubic meters (appr. 140 000 cubic feet) will be harwested and transported during the fair.
