General Information
Since 1962, the International Fair of Agriculture and Food Industry in Gornja Radgona, midst the biggest and the most developed agricultural area of Slovenia, at the crossing of Austria, Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia, has been a scene of successful meetings of economists, professionals, customers and consumers from Slovenia, the neighbouring countries, from Europe and the world. Also the 43rd fair, taking place from August 27 September 2, 2005, will be the most important agricultural and food industry business event of Central Europe. It will be offering a variegated international selection of devices, products and knowledge from and for the areas of agriculture, food industry and food-processing industry. Commercial displays, covering one third of fair surface, will supplement trade exhibitions of stock and sample plantations.Trade programme with more than fifty events will enable the exchange of the most up-to-date findings and current opinions between professional institutes, ministries, chambers and other establishments, as well as between economists, representatives of companies and ultimate users. Professional colleagues will be united at social events and meetings. Business, professional and general public will be acquainted with products, awarded by commissions of reputable professionals at the international competitions of meat and meat products, milk and milk products, fruit juices and alcohol-free beverages, open state wine evaluation and the international evaluation of agricultural machines.
