Summary
The Conference of Metallurgists, the premier annual event of the Metallurgical Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum is returning to Winnipeg after an absence of 21 years. Like the 1987 Conference, the 2008 COM will offer an exciting technical program with international flavour, which is currently being developed under the guidance of Dr. Bill Caley of Dalhousie University in Halifax.
